What is Sales?

Sales. A term, simple, yet full of mystery. “What is sales?” — a question without one answer, without general consensus. But imagine if we could frame ‘sales’ logically, and practically. Imagine understanding sales so well we could automate it, streamline it. Zefram’s AI is set on this task — making complex sales simple and digestible.
Here’s a taste:

Part 1 – Defining the customer profile
I want to find a new tenant for my commercial property in the heart of Helsinki. My ideal tenant is a company. Given our locale is Finland, and the prospective tenant is a company, it’s logical to assume they would appear on the list of all Finnish corporations. Why? Finnish legislation requires companies to be transparent with certain data, including their addresses. This gives me insight into their whereabouts. I’ve also learned that a corporation’s relocation follows certain patterns: the typical distance traveled from the prior spot, the usual time elapsed between relocations, the relationship between the number of employees and space needed, and the link between addresses and industries, among others. Equipped with this understanding, I can use AI to analyze this information and provide me with a list of the most likely buyers.

Part 2 – Identifying and prioritizing potential customers
First, the AI takes into account all accessible information and puts it under the microscope. Factors like the company’s present location, its history of relocations, the size of its workforce, and its industry sector, among other relevant factors, come into play. From this analysis, the AI identifies companies that are anticipated to be in search of new office quarters shortly. These prospective clients are then ranked based on the likelihood of their readiness for a move.

Part 3 – Creating the message and making contact
Once the prospective tenants have been prioritized, it’s time to establish contact. Since we don’t have a personal connection with these companies, our communication will be based solely on the information we have gathered about them. The AI proves instrumental here too, carefully creating a unique, targeted message for each potential tenant. Here’s a glimpse of what the final output might look like:

Hello Jean,
I noticed that Johnson Tech Ltd has been doing exceptionally well over the past four years. Congratulations on that! As you have hired five new employees, I have good reason to believe that your current office at Paradise Apple Road 5 is starting to feel small. I’m contacting you because I would like to offer you a larger commercial space just around the corner. I believe this move would be a great next step for Johnson Tech Ltd. I would like to invite you to take a look at the space one of these days. Could you book a time using this link? I look forward to our meeting!

Zefram aims to define sales in the simplest way possible.

In this example, we’ve concentrated on a straightforward yet crucial aspect of sales: identifying potential customers with the highest likelihood of conversion and initiating a dialogue to create an opportunity for negotiation. Zefram’s AI aspires to execute this process with unmatched efficiency. It transforms sales into a strategic and profitable venture, reducing manual labor and enhancing customer acquisition. It aids you in identifying the ‘gems’ among potential customers and facilitates effective, personalized communication with them.

In the next part of Zefram’s summer series, we’ll delve into the anatomy of the first contact – how to make a convincing first impression and ignite interest among potential customers. We will uncover what makes the difference between good and bad first contact. So, welcome back to the blog next week!
